Customizing the MODUS system is achieved with STAGE 4, based on each patient’s individual needs. Concerns with hyper-pigmentation, melasma, color and tone issues, acne rosacea or a combination of issues will determine which product(s) should be added to your MODUS regimen. Proceed with guidance as necessary in understanding the nuances of MODUS’s 4th stage.
Select only ONE Stage 4 component per application. A combination MUST be separated by AM/PM regimens. Call for clarification to avoid excessive ingredient irritation and overload.
STAGE 4 - CLARIpHy K-A – Skin Conditioner
Contains Kojic Acid and Azaelic acid as the primary active ingredients.
This dual acid combination is the most powerful of the three STAGE 4 products and raises pH to 3.5.
ClaripHy KA is essential for acne, a history of acne and/or rosacea. Feel free calling for unique customization, otherwise, use 1 to 2 times daily. Stinging & Itching is not uncommon.
How to customize MODUS for your needs for: SKIN TONE BALANCING
A safe, perfectly proven alternative to hydroquinone. Hydroquinone (HQ) suppresses cell function whereas Alpha Arbutin does NOT. Modus researchers methodically chose the biosynthetic agent, Alpha Arbutin, over the botanical form, Beta Arbutin, to ensure the most effective, safe, and medically documented melanin control mechanism. Instead of blocking or prohibiting full melanin production , Alpha Arbutin is simply a stimulating management ingredient designed to effectively regulate melanin production. It efficiently buffers the “clumping” of color creating freckles, sunspots, and melasma from free radicals, UV abuse, and daily UV exposure.
STAGE 4 - pHade 10% Alpha Arbutin – Skin Tone Balancer
Contains Alpha-Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Vitamin C and Olea Europea (olive leaf extract), and is very effective in balanced skin tone. The higher 10% formulation may cause mild redness and burning but much less than what is seen with the Kojic Acid/Azelaic Acid preparation in claripHy K-A
STAGE 4 - pHade 5% Alpha Arbutin – Skin Tone Balancer
At half the strength of the 10% formulation it will cause little to no redness or burning.
MODUS Stage 4 - pHade 5% & 10% will be replaced with the new Tutino 2nd Generation skin care products. These products are made to be compatible with MODUS products. You will notice only an improved feel as these products have been re-formulated to accelerate and improve your results.
