his young patient was seeking a regimen that would return health and function to her skin with the goal of calming her acne enough to begin laser or TCA treatments to improve skin even further. Although this regimen is intense, the biological effect that is achieved by restoring skin health improved the appearance of her acne. Often MODUS is combined with physicians procedures or pharmacological intervention to aid in quick wound healing, improve the signs of scarring and aids in controlling the redness that is often noticeable, especially with acne patients. Improvements in acne were achieved by effective delivery of L-Ascorbic Acid for cellular support and repair, Kojic and Azelaic Acids, along with Retin A, LAA, and glycolic acid accelerate cellular turnover and sebum build up. Topical Melatonin is used sparingly to aid in anti-inflammation during the minor sloughing phase. The signs of acne are extremely difficult to manage, therefore, use of the MODUS acne regimen should be followed compliantly. Use of the agents, and occasional lapses in application can cause the signs of acne to magnify. Consulting with your physician, often aids in the regimen outcome. Your physician's guidance may include other procedures to improve the appearance of acne, acne scars and management of papules.

You see her plan working, so now ask yourself... "What's your face fitness plan?"
